With the seasons changing again from hot to cold for me it is time to transition all of the blankets and do some bi-annual cleaning.  From bedding to curtains everything gets a wash.  Whether I am putting blankets away into storage or pulling them out I love the fresh scent of laundry scent boosters.

Purex no sort for Colors ~ Giveaway ~ Sweepstakes

Purex is changing the rules for how we do our laundry and I am excited!  I like to always make sure I have a full load every time I do my laundry but I tend to have two full loads and two half loads.  Well now I have no worries because my two half loads can now be combined into one giant load.  This is great because not only does it save time but it is also saves energy and water and that leads to saving money!!

We have all had colors that bled well washing clothes at some point in time and it is highly aggravating when clothes get ruined in the washer.

With a house full of boys  - 2 toddlers and 1 filthy husband - dirty stinky laundry is never something I am lacking in.  Especially since it is winter I think my laundry has tripled in size!  To reduce some of my laundry burden I try to limit how many towels and PJs we wear in a week even though it doesn't seem to help much 5 towels to wash when the weekend comes is much better then 20.  Purex crystals helps keep things like towels smelling fresher longer which is one of the main reasons why I LOVE them.

I was recently given the opportunity to try Purex's new UltaPacks Liquid Laundry Detergent plus Oxi and I must say I was not disappointed.  With 3 boys that love to get dirty on a daily basis my laundry is not lacking in the stain department.  By the end of the day their clothes smell of all of the days activities as well.

I personally love laundry pods because of their simplicity.  Just toss and go!  No measuring, dripping, or trying to get the last bit out of the bottle.  One less minute doing anything is a plus.  I also love that they are filled with concentrated detergent.  You wouldn't think that you need such a tiny amount of detergent but it really gets the job done.  Dirt is no match for Purex plus Oxi!  I have to mention the scent too because the clothes smelled so clean and fresh when I opened the door to my washer. 

An important reminder with all laundry pods is to keep them away from small children.  My rule is high out of reach or locked down below.  Like any chemical they are dangerous but laundry pods are overall more appealing to a small child.
